Arts in Motion is a dance center based in Auburn, New York. We encourage all of our students to strive for excellence in dance, while having fun along the way.

Samantha Howell

Owner/Director/Instructor

Samantha has loved dancing and moving since a young age. In 2016 she acted on her lifelong dream and pursued opening her own studio!

Sam has been an instructor and choreographer for the past 11 years and has received several choreography and technical awards for her competitive work. Prior to opening her own studio Samantha also directed several dance performances, choreographed for local musicals and studied with multiple studios and companies. She has also attended and taken advantage of several master classes and seminars where she has furthered her knowledge and experience in dance, choreography and teaching skills. Sam is trained is Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, Contemporary, Modern, Hip Hop, Musical Theater, as well as Competitive dance and cheer.

Samantha is looking forward to the growth of Arts In Motion Dance Center and she is hoping AIM becomes a home for many students where their dreams come true!

Kennedy Giancola

Assistant Director/Instructor

Kennedy since a young age had a genuine love and passion for dance, which has only grown stronger over the years. Having experience in multiple genres of dance she followed the footsteps of her sister, Samantha, and became dedicated to pushing dancers to their fullest potential.

She spends much of her time being actively involved in the studio - working with dancers as well as taking care of most of the behind the scenes and unspoken work. She takes pride in sharing the AIM atmosphere which is supportive, inspiring, and fun! Being able to guide upcoming dancers and watch them grow over the years has given Kennedy a special admiration to continue pursuing her love of dance.

Kennedy is looking forward to sharing her passion with others and furthering her career in teaching and choreographing!
